It
means that the music we create is esoteric in nature
- it is not designed for the masses but is intended
for or understood by only a particular group - you,
the intelligent listener.
Post-contemporary
refers to our innate attitude - where postmodernism
is all about referring to what has been - often with
a knowing wink at how clever it is to be making the
reference - the post contemporary attitude avoids
all current trends to return to pure inspiration,
striving for a unique quality and longevity which
is anathema to the throwaway ideals currently in fashion.
In
short - we are attempting to make something of value
- music which resonates at a deep, emotional and spiritual
level, to make the world a better place - at least
musically.
Are
